This was an interesting article that was posted by Mike, Skip and the gang over at Full Measure Brewing Company. I personally believe that we need something like this in the State of Michigan in the future for our brewing industry to thrive and prosper. There are too many quality control issues at breweries and bars across the state already. Compound that with the fact that once a beer has left the taproom and is being served offsite, a breweries reputation can be tarnished by bars that don’t have proper training on how a beer should be served. Too many places serve beer out of unclean tap lines in a dirty glass that has no foam retention capabilities left in it. The goal should always be to serve the freshest, cleanest tasting beer possible to keep your customers coming back. This is an issue that we as an industry definitely need to take very seriously heading forward. Beer should ALWAYS have foam. Cheers!
