I’m glad that movie theaters have added bars. Not that I’m seeing movies that are so bad they require alcohol but it’s nice to have the option, right? Sometimes you just want to spend $10 on a Bud Light!
I decided to go with a beer institution. Sam Adams Boston Lager has a very inviting smell. Nice and yeasty. The color is very nice as well, a golden brown with just a touch of copper.
I am trying to think of the best way to describe the taste but what I seem to keep coming up with is “beer”. You can taste a little hops, you can taste malt, the flavors blend together nicely, and you feel happy after you drink it! Beer! It’s nice and smooth and overall pretty harmless.
This beer has definitely grown on me since the last time I tried it. When you think of beer, this is basically what it tastes like. There’s nothing that really grabs you by the lapels and slaps you in the face but it’s a solid taste with a clean finish. Sure, I’ll pay $10 for that.
