Brew Detroit has been purchased by Benchmark Beverages which is the same company that owns ROAK and Dark Horse Brewing Company. They will be moving all Brew Detroit operations to Marshall, Michigan. You will still be able to get all of your favorite beers from Brew Detroit, they just won’t be made in Detroit anymore. On one hand it is nice to see the name and the beers get to find a new home, but it is also sad to see the company is leaving Detroit and the employees that currently work there will have to find new jobs. How does everyone else feel about this? Would love to hear your opinions on the matter, this is one of the many ways that some breweries might be able to stick around heading into the future with the turbulent times that we are experiencing in the industry at the moment. Cheers!
