Welcome to August’s New Indiana Beer Labels!

It’s been a while since we’ve looked at what our friends to the south have in the TTB, so we decided to take a gander. Our last New Indiana Beer Label post was in April of this year.

All of the beer labels featured here are available for the public to view on the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) website. You can spend your time figuring it out or you can check out our monthly highlights. Check out past beer label posts here.

It should be noted that TTB approved labels are not guaranteed to be on shelves in the immediate future or even at all. Breweries need to have labels ready if they decide a beer is a go for packaging and distribution. There may be a multitude of reasons to release a product or not. We’ve opted to showcase beer labels that we find fun and interesting. The purpose of this post is to start a conversation about what is potentially on the horizon in the Indiana beer scene.

This month’s highlights include labels from 3 Floyds Brewing, 450 North Brewing Co, Blockhead Beerworks, CLAG Brewing Company (Ohio), Deciduous Brewing Company (New Hampshire), Drekker Brewing Company (North Dakota), Froth Brewing Co (New York), Gnosis Brewing, HOMES Brewery (Michigan), RAR Brewing (Maryland), Southern Grist Brewing Company (Tennessee), Upland Brewing Company, WeldWerks Brewing Co (Colorado)

August’s featured label is SLUSHY XL Magic Conch, a collaborative brew between 450 North Brewing Co and More Brewing Company out of Huntley, IL.

Which label is your favorite?

Cheers!

Ed Norton

Edwin "Ed" Norton was first introduced to craft beer when his designated fraternity Big Brother Vince asked him if he knew anything about the topic. Ed admitted his ignorance and the rest is history as Ed and Vince would split six-packs of craft beers each week during Ed's probationary status. Ed is now a craft beer enthusiast who is always on the lookout for a beer he has not tried when bottle shopping or drinking at breweries and bars. In addition to drinking beer, this livelong Michigan resident enjoys a bunch of hobbies that he doubts you really care about, other than drinking beer and sounding off about it.
