The final month of 2022 is here! What a year it has been! Welcome to December’s New Michigan Beer Labels!
All of the beer labels featured here are available for the public to view on the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) website. You can spend your time figuring it out or you can check out our monthly highlights. We at Better on Draft do not have special access nor did we hack into the brewery designer’s laptop. Check out past beer label posts here.
It should be noted that TTB approved labels are not guaranteed to be on shelves in the immediate future or even at all. Breweries need to have labels ready if they decide a beer is a go for packaging and distribution. There may be a multitude of reasons to release a product or not. The purpose of this post is to start a conversation about what is potentially on the horizon in the Michigan beer scene.
This month’s highlights include labels from Bell’s Brewery, Dark Horse Brewing Co, Glass Creek Brewery, Griffin Claw Brewing Co, Guardian Brewing Company, Midland Brewing Co, Odd Side Ales, Short’s Brewing Company, Transient Artisan Ales, and WAB (brewed by B. Nektar).
December’s featured label is Brown Eyed Girl from Thornapple Brewing Co out of Grand Rapids, MI! The label showcases the beer’s GABF Silver Medal from 2018, too! Not many breweries in Michigan print their medals on their beer labels. Will this be a new trend?!
Which label is your favorite?
Cheers!
