Welcome to May’s New Michigan Beer Labels!
All of the beer labels featured here are available for the public to view on the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) website. You can spend your time figuring it out or you can check out our monthly highlights. Check out past beer label posts here.
We always like to note that TTB approved labels are not guaranteed to be on shelves in the immediate future or even at all. Breweries need to have labels ready if they decide a beer is a go for packaging and distribution. There may be a multitude of reasons to release a product or not. We’ve opted to showcase beer labels that we find fun and interesting. The purpose of this post is to start a conversation about what could be on the horizon in the Michigan beer scene.
This month’s highlights include labels from Archival Brewing, Arvon Brewing Co, Atwater Brewery, Austin Brothers Beer Co, Bell’s Brewery, Bier’s Inwood Brewery, Cherry Republic Brewing Co, Detroit Liquid Ventures, Dixie Saloon Brewery, Ellison Brewing Co, Haymarket Beer Co, Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales, New Holland Brewing Company, Old Nation Brewing Co, Ore Dock Brewing Company, Pigeon Hill Brewing Company, River St. Joe Brewing Co, and Short’s Brewing Company.
May’s Featured Label
Pigeon Hill Brewing Company out of Muskegon recently celebrated 10 years! Happy Anniversary to them! With the milestone, a lot of their beer labels are getting a facelift, including May’s Featured Label – Beach, Please. This label gives a nod to the West Michigan Lakeshore and seems a lot more artistic and mature. Keep your eyes peeled for more updates as they come through the TTB to see if they will make it on store shelves.
