Well unfortunately today’s post is going to be the first closure announced for the year 2025, sadly this won’t be the last one. It is with a heavy heart that I have to tell everyone that Brew Detroit will be closing their taproom at the end of January. This is just a taproom closure, they are going to shift their focus to the distribution side of the business. You will still be able to get their beers at your local shops that already receive Brew Detroit products.

They have been serving beer out of their taproom for a decade and have become a pillar in the Michigan Beer community. If you can make it down to the taproom one last time before the end of January, I highly encourage you to do so. We are losing another great brewery in the state of Michigan and this is a big loss to the Detroit Beer Community. On the flip side though, Brew Detroit, we salute you for the decade of delicious beer that you treated us to and hopefully the community shows up over the next month to show their appreciation for all that you have done. Cheers!
