The Michigan Brewers Guild Upper Peninsula Fall Beer Festival will be taking place on Saturday, September 9 in Marquette, MI!

The annual event is taking place at Mattson Lower Harbor Park on the shores of Lake Superior. It is a gorgeous venue that, we believe, cannot be matched by any of the other Michigan Brewers Guild beer festival locations. VIP ticket holders begin admission at noon, while General Admission is allowed access at 1 pm. The festival runs until 6pm.

Around 85 Michigan Brewers Guild member breweries are set to pour with a little over 500 beers ready to be enjoyed. With partly cloudy skies and a high in the mid 60s, it is shaping up to be a beautiful day in the Upper Peninsula. This festival is one of our team’s favorites at Better on Draft. Its typically the first weekend after Labor and occurs around 906 Day. It is the perfect festival to stop thinking about summer beers and start thinking about fall offerings.

Ed Norton

Edwin "Ed" Norton was first introduced to craft beer when his designated fraternity Big Brother Vince asked him if he knew anything about the topic. Ed admitted his ignorance and the rest is history as Ed and Vince would split six-packs of craft beers each week during Ed's probationary status. Ed is now a craft beer enthusiast who is always on the lookout for a beer he has not tried when bottle shopping or drinking at breweries and bars. In addition to drinking beer, this livelong Michigan resident enjoys a bunch of hobbies that he doubts you really care about, other than drinking beer and sounding off about it.
